Forum Rules (Click here for German / Deutsche Seite)
1. Stay On Topic
Topics and discussions shall be placed in the most appropriate forum and shall be relevant to the purpose of this forum: eMule. Threads started in the wrong forum will be moved (with or without notice) and off-topic threads or otherwise useless threads will be moved to The Bin where they will shortly be deleted. Within the General eMule Forum threads about other P2P programs (particularly those using the ed2k network) are considered on-topic; however, the discussions must still follow Rule 3 below.
Note: the main areas of the Forum are English only posts (bilingual ok). There are separate forum areas for German, Espa駉l, and Fran鏰is.
2. No References to Illegal Content Allowed
General or specific references to any illegal content are not allowed. This includes: ed2k links, links to sites which host such content, and graphics which show these materials. Violation of this rule will result in the references being removed and the user warned and/or immediately banned. Direct or indirect promotion of copyright violations is not tolerated and posts WILL be removed.
3. Be Nice
Be courteous and constructive in your posting. Yes, some questions are just plain dumb but if you don't have the patience to type something useful just let someone with more patience address the matter. Note: if you read the FAQ and sticky threads that say "Read Me First" you are a lot less likely to ask a dumb question in the first place.
Offensive or otherwise worthless posts may be editted or deleted at the discretion of the Forum Moderators. In general, threads will be locked or Binned rather than being outright deleted.
eMule requires a lot of patience and is a community project supported by many volunteers. So please read first, think a little and then post.
4. Don't post about unreleased versions of eMule
The eMule Team announces new releases depending on the state of the FTP mirrors. To do so before this is done, is harming the servers.
